dallas stars announce the mike modano trophy - brass plate engraving

The owner and governor of the Dallas Star team, Tom gargarardi, announced the trophy, which will be awarded annually to star players who are leading points during the regular season, last night at the exclusive season ticket holder party at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas.

Sculptor Bob English is in the tool workshop in Texas.
The base is made of polished walnuts and includes a chopping board that Modano has grabbed for all 11 seasons

The main body of the sculpture is made of bronze, and the stick is carved from steel.
The entire sculpture is located on a marble slate attached to a wooden base.

Richard Cowan of Hoka Hey Art Foundry in Dublin, Texas made the casting, while Jalea Cowan made the engraving of the plates.
