An Australian grandfather's face had to be rebuilt after accidentally carving it in half with a chainsaw.
Bill singhton, 68, told his wife, Lynette, that he just went out and cut firewood and would be home soon.
But a few hours later, after a strange accident in the jungle, the surgeon was trying to stitch his face together.

"I have two chainsaws, a small one and a big one.
"I took out the big saw and started it, and of course it started moving," he said . ".
The blade, however, did not pass through the wood, but bounced back to his mouth through his lower lip, all the way gou to his wisdom teeth.
"I heard this voice.
Bill recalled that I didn't feel anything at the time. I thought, "Oh, my God ".
Bill's face is now a terrible mask, and he knelt down and desperately used his handkerchief to stop bleeding.
Bill said: "Of course I said a few words to myself.
I started thinking, "Okay, what's next ? " Grandfather's cell phone was on him, but even if he managed to contact the doctor, he could not ask for help because his tongue was torn in half.
Instead, he dragged himself onto the truck, making a rough sling and turning himself to the hospital with another arm for nearly 20 miles, the report said.
"What I should do is sit at the bottom of the tree, lean back and wait for the lights to go out," he mused . ".
Bill lost most of his teeth and his chin had to be fixed with a metal plate.
He also had to spend a few weeks learning to speak again due to nerve damage that caused his tongue to become permanently numb, but within days of discharge he came back to find firewood.
Three years later, Bill had two more surgeries to fix his metal chin and prepare a new set of teeth for his gums.
The worst part of the ordeal, he said, was that he was forced to change his diet, and his wife added: "He was just craving steak.
