About the work of the Washington bank banknote sculptor Association.
Its members work at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, a US stamp and currency producer.
The column focuses on the artisan souvenirs that the guild has prepared for the souvenir project of the International League of flat-panel printers, molds and sculptors, and the Guild is one of the units.
The union held its 1946 Congress in Washington, where it inserted about 10 × 8 inch commemorative cards with four scenes printed on the Washington website.
Two are horizontal views, two are vertical views, and they have the same measurements: 51mm x 36mm horizontally;

About 2 inch by 1 inch).
This card was the predecessor of some souvenirs, as they were made by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing itself, or for the Old Post Office Department of the current postal department.
The stamps were welcomed by stamp collectors.
Although the later issue board simulated American stamps and simulated foreign stamps in one example, the original bank note sculptor Association souvenir did not depict the actual stamp design or even prose.
The advertisement depicted on 1946 cards is the National Art Museum in "light purple;
The green Washington Monument, the gray Capitol building;
And the Washington Cathedral in reddishorange.
Their respective colors reflect the change of the seasons.

Spring is green, gray in the shower in summer and red in autumn.
Advertising these 1946 souvenirs received such high praise that when the union met again in Washington on 1951, the card was reprinted in a different color, and the gallery was the dark green Capitol, the blue Monument and the Brown orange Cathedral.

On 1954, the Philadelphia National Philatelic Museum re-issued cards of nearly original colors (

1966 Session of the sixth international postal fair (SIPEX)
Staged in Washington, a 9x7-inch color souvenir card was made with this pattern, and another black and white card produced by the American Banknote Company depicted a gold miner who rested.
