Q.
The ice cream maker is called a "fast fridge" with the label saying it was made in Brooklyn, New York. Y.
Precision casting company
Fast Freeze business unit.
36 recipes are given in the instructions, with a date of 1970.
The machine is 19 cm high, 30 cm long and 22 cm wide, excluding the handle (7. 5 x 12 x 8. 5 inches).
I can't find any information on it.
Monica, kidina.
I'm afraid I can't find any other information about this home ice cream maker, but I can tell you that it will attract collectors interested in tools and technology.
The working principle of this machine is to pour the mixture of eggs, milk and sugar into a slowly rotating inner tube filled with a mixture of ice and salt.
The ice/salt mixture melts to a temperature below the freezing point of the water, thus extracting the heat from the ice cream ingredients and freezing them outside the drum.
Various trays collect the ice mixture for removal.
It is said that ice cream originated in the Far East and was promoted by King Charles II in Europe.
If you don't want to use your machine to make the right food for the King, the right collector will be happy to snap it up for about $250. Q.
I bought this chair at an antique shop in Pembroke, Ontario.
About $25 in 1980.
Thirty years later, I reinstalled the seat, when I was told that the chair might be valuable.
It is worth noting that a typed note was found at the Kiwanis auction in Southern Ontario indicating that the former owner had obtained the chair.
He made the wood again, but had not had time to deal with the upholstery.
I'm curious about the age and style of the chair and its value.
Susan, Pembroke.
Your chair is a bit hard to sort out and depends a lot on its actual age.
The best way to determine this is to look below and see how many times it has been redecorated.
There are at least four rows of real chairs (
30 years or more per row)
Sticky marks for interior decoration, while the nearest marks will be less.
The style of your "elbow" chair (
The so-called continuous bending arm is connected to the leg)
It may be called Georgia or regent, both of which refer to the style that was popular during the reign of George III and his son George IV (1714-1837).
You may also see chairs like Sheraton or Hepplewhite, both of which are the booming taxi manufacturers during this period.
I feel that your chair is the most like a seven white but, the clear conditions and the lack of obvious fixed structure make me suspect that this is the latest work from 1900 to 1910.
If so, it would be worth about $250. If I'm wrong (
Hey, this could happen)
The value of the chair for the period 1790 to 1820 was $750. Q.
This is the vase I bought at the auction 40 years ago for 50 cents.
At the bottom it says "Vetcraft Reg trademark C language made in Toronto ".
"It's hammer copper, 22 cm high and 6 cm wide (8. 5 x 2. 5 inches). Ken, DurhamA.
Vetcraft is a Canadian government enterprise operating from 1919 to 1926, aiming to provide dignified work for disabled soldiers.
There are two places in Halifax: one is where toys and furniture are made;
The other is in Toronto, where metal products, plaques, doll furniture and other wooden toys are produced.
You may find items like this with paper labels, metal labels, or decals
Made by disabled soldiers.
Your vase has reviewed handles and simulated rivets around the base, an example of a craft art style that promotes handmade products to artificial products.
It will maintain great interest with military collectors and arts and crafts enthusiasts, today worth about $125.
