On October 27, 2011, in bennaby, British Columbia, Captain Noble, commander on the 915 rescue aircraft, was assigned to rescue two people trapped in the Fox basin near the Nunavut ice house.
The mission will require more than kilometres of travel, far exceeding the maximum number of flight days for the crew.
Despite the limitations of the aircraft, the harsh weather conditions and the complex operational conditions, Captain Noble skillfully planned and carried out his mission, saving the lives of two hunters, and rescued three technicians who helped search and rescue by parachuting.
